During the 11th match of the ninth phase of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Quetta Gladiators’ wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed was hit on the head by a ball in the final over. He was immediately taken to the hospital for CT scans. The incident occurred during the match between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators, which was being played in Multan. Mohammad Waseem Junior took a catch off a throw-in and the ball hit Sarfaraz Ahmed on the head. After being hit, Sarfaraz Ahmed walked off the ground. Reports indicate that Sarfaraz Ahmed, the wicketkeeper for Quetta Gladiators, was taken to the hospital for CT scans. Sajid Ali Junior replaced Sarfaraz Ahmed in the team for this match and fulfilled the wicketkeeping duties. It is worth noting that Multan Sultans defeated Quetta Gladiators by 13 runs in this match.

PSL 9 Update: Sarfaraz Ahmed Ruled Out of Quetta vs Multan Match Due to Concussion

In the PSL 9 match between Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans, Sarfaraz Ahmed, the wicketkeeper-batsman for Quetta, has been sidelined due to a concussion. He was forced to leave the field during the final over of Multan’s innings after being struck on the head by a ball. Mohammad Sajjad Ali has taken his place as the keeper. Additionally, Sajjad will act as a concussion substitute for Sarfaraz with the bat.

Multan set a challenging target of 181 runs for Quetta, thanks to aggressive batting by Reeza Hendricks and Tayyab Tahir in the final overs.
