Lakshmi Narayan Number 1 (Played by Tushar Kapoor) lives in Mumbai with his widowed mother Kanta, living a poor man’s life. His mother wants him to become a gangster and desires that he earn money by killing people, and then marry Mina Khajli, the daughter of a small-time goon. Lakshmi Narayan Number 2 (Played by Sunil Shetty) is a very obedient type of secretary in a firm. He desires to buy an old classic car from a used car dealer, Leela (Sameera Reddy), in Pandi.

He’s my favorite character in the film, and these three Lakshmi Narayans end up swapping places with each other, which brings significant twists in the film.
