According to the Hindustan Times, a video has gone viral allegedly featuring Aamir Khan urging support for a specific political party. Following the viral spread of this fake video, clarification statements have been issued by Aamir Khan’s team.
In his clarification statement, Aamir Khan stated that he has taken action against the fake video and has never supported any political party throughout his career.

A spokesperson for Aamir Khan stated in the clarification “We became aware of a viral video attributed to Aamir Khan in which he appears to be endorsing a specific political party. We would like to clarify that this is a fake video and completely untrue.”
The statement further mentioned, “We have reached out to the relevant authorities to address the matter. An FIR has been filed with the Mumbai Cyber Crime Cell.”
The spokesperson added, “We want to clarify that Aamir Khan has not supported any political party in his 35-year career. He has consistently encouraged awareness among the public to vote through the Election Commission.”
It is noteworthy that Aamir Khan will return to the big screen with the release of the Christmas movie “Laal Singh Chaddha” in December next year.
